Pandemonium Act II Full Summary 👻2️⃣
Lots going on this season. Tons of new rewards, skins, modes etc. Below I've broken down what we know so far below; including loot, releases, skins etc.
Firstly, here's the battle pass rewards 💰

New skinline: Sinful Shores. See all the spotlights and new flavor text on our other post here. Basically just spooky summer skins...? I like it actually! Brand looks - dare I say - hot. Sorry. Below are the new icons and associated orb for this skinline release.
'Beach Bum' Orb - Open to reveal 1 guaranteed random Pool Party, Spirit Blossom Springs, or Ocean Song themed Skin Permanent. Two Beach Bum Mystery Skin loot orbs will be included in the battle pass.

The new champion 'Locke' is releasing on June 24th and his release skin will he High Noon. Akshan will also be recieving a High Noon skin. Great news to be fair, Riot is paying attention to champs who haven't recieved skins in a while. Now on a similar note, we need a *cough cough Cho'Gath VGU *cough cough. We'll be posting more info on the Locke release when it's available.

Victorious Rengar is our reward for 15 ranked wins, alongside the approporitate ranked variant when you achieve Gold or higher. The previous link will bring you to an article to understand more about how that works.

We've got new chromas for the Heavenscale skins from 2024. We're currently unsure if these are going to be mythic 'paragon' variants, or if they're just visual ones. We also don't know if these will be earn-able in-game or if they'll require the special digits on the back of your credit card.

TL;DR They're removing augment traits because they forced people into similar builds every game, and they're adding ABILITY augments like the embedded video below. Seems really crazy, but will be a lot of fun.

Here's the ARAM: Mayhem 'mini-pass' rewards that will be available June 10th. Progress will no longer be available on October 5th.

They're also adding a ton of new 'regular' augments as well, pictured below.

Time to talk about new loot orbs and bags! All the new sprites and items inside have been leaked. The orignal tweet is here if you'd like to see it on X!
(Pictured above) Demons Delight Orb: Open to reveal a guaranteed random Skin Shard with a chance to obtain a Demons Delight Grab Bag.

Demons Delight Grab Bag: Contains 2 Skin Shards worth 975 RP or higher AND 1 Skin Shard worth 1350 RP or lower. Bonus chance at Mythic Essence and 2 random Skin Shards of any value as well.

Demons Delight Exclusive Pack: Contains 3 Skin Shards worth 1350 RP or lower OR 4 Skin Shards worth 975 RP or higher OR 4 random Skin Permanents. Bonus chance at Mythic Essence. ***Not sure where this is earned from.

League is finally bringing back the old “Ranked 5s” mode, a competitive queue designed for full five-player teams. Riot originally removed Ranked 5s years ago because matchmaking was poor and queue times were extremely long, but they now believe improvements to matchmaking technology and anti-smurf systems make it possible to bring the mode back in a healthier way. Unlike the original version, players will not be locked into one permanent team roster - any five friends can queue together at any time, even if their ranks are very different from one another. This will be really interesting - a challenger can queue with 4 of his bronze-plat buddies and create a wild game dynamic.
This new version also includes several major changes intended to make the mode more accessible. Ranked 5s will only be available during scheduled weekend nighttime windows in each region so enough teams are online at once for faster matchmaking. I'm not sure how I feel about this, these are nightmare times for employed people 😂

The mode will also use tournament draft with multiple ban and pick phases - if you've ever watched a pro game you're already aware of how this works. Riot says they’ve improved their systems for detecting smurfing and boosting, especially for high-ranked players abusing lower-ranked accounts, and those protections will hopefully apply here as well. Since this is still considered an experiment, Riot is asking players for feedback and will be adjusting the queue over time. Players who participate will earn rewards including an icon for everyone and special banners for teams that reach Gold rank or higher.
