League of Legends Classic Is Ending Next Year 🥲
League of Legends Classic mode will in January 2027 (absolutely no one is surprised by this). There just isn't enough nostalgia to hold it up, plus with everyone over-optimizing video games nowadays - it just doesn't feel the same. Starting October 21, the mode will only be available during specific time windows on certain servers, and only in custom games on JP and ME servers.
"We’ll then put Classic back in the box for now, with the goal of bringing it back, likely as an event mode with adjustments and additions." - via Riot's recent dev post
• Classic-specific content that will no longer be usable will be refunded.
• The Classic Pass: Act 2 will have a single free track
The mode may return temporarily in the future with changes and additional content.
