League Classic is coming?!
HOLY SHIT - according to (former) professional players Doinb and Uzi, Riot is working on a "League of Legends Classic". We can assume - at minimum - we will get to see many pre-rework champions like Irelia, Fiora, Urgot, Sion, Galio etc. alongside the original map. At best we might also get a separate 'client' with old runes & masteries.
Imagine we get the old client back with the old rune system 🥹
It would be an honor to lock in a 1% crit mark on every champion and gamble level 1 interactions. Beware of Yasuo/Tryndamere - they will have 20%.
To be honest, I'm not sure how far back Riot is planning on going. If by 'classic' they mean ORIGINAL Alpha League, then there's only going to be 17 champions (I doubt this will be the case).
For those of you ARAM: Mayhem-ers - the 'Blade Waltz' prismatic augment is actually just Fiora's (pre-rework) ultimate!
Talon also used to - quite literally - teleports behind you, nothing personal kid. His old E just blinked to a target and silenced them 😭
There's so much potential for this, and it would surely appease the veteran playerbase who yearn for 5 sunfire cape rengar, thunderlords, courage, and call order draft pick.
